Your workstation must meet the following minimum requirements to run the VPN Client for Windows (32- and 64-bit):

The Barracuda SSL VPN Portal provides simple browser-based remote access for desktop and mobile devices. When accessing the portal via the web browser, users can browse apps, network folders, and files as if they are connected to the office network. The portal supports most commonly used devices, including Apple iOS, Android, Blackberry, etc.

  1. Barracuda VPN Client – Integrated VPN client that lets you create VPN profiles and establish connections. The VPN Client installation is a standard installation routine providing default settings (e.g., regarding the connection behavior). This setup type requires only standard user privileges on the workstation.

How to Install the Barracuda VPN Client for Microsoft Windows 32- and 64-bit:

      1. Download the Barracuda VPN Client installation file and save to your computer.
      2. Right-click on setup.exe and select 'Run as Administrator' to start the installation routine. The InstallShield Wizard then starts to prepare the installation files.
      3. After the installation files are prepared, a window opens and advises you to close all running programs. After you close all running programs, click Next. If you do not close all running programs, you might be prompted to close certain programs later during the installation.
      4. After a few seconds, you are presented with the Barracuda Networks Warranty and Software License Agreement. Select I accept the terms in the license agreement. You must accept the agreement to continue with the installation.
      5. The next screen is only to confirm that the installation itself is about to be executed now.
      6. Wait until the progress bar reaches 100%, indicating that the installation is complete. During this subprocess, the system's network connectivity will drop out for a few moments.
      The wizard tells you when the installation has been completed. To start the VPN Client when you click Finish, select the Launch VPN Client check box.

The Barracuda VPN client has been preconfigured for Windows:
1. Profile: LLCC VPN (preset)
2. Username: llccyour user name (ex: llccjdoe3249)
3. Password: Enter your LLCC password
4. Click the Connect button
5. Click Yes to accept the certificate

Barracuda VPN Client Login Instructions

TO SETUP AND LOGIN, FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. For Windows computers, after downloading and saving the appropriate zip file for your operating system, extract the files to a folder on your computer and run the “setup.exe” file.
  2. Click “Next”, accept the license agreement and click “Next”, click “Next”, click “Next”, on the “Setup Type” page choose the top option “Barracuda VPN client”.
  3. On the “Barracuda Settings” page type vpn.gsws.com in the “VPN server IP(s)” field and click next. Click “Install” and wait for the software to finish installing.
  4. After the installation, check the “Launch VPN Client” box and click “Finish”.
  5. You should now have a “Barracuda Network Access Client” icon at the bottom right of your screen next to your clock. Click the icon and the click “Connect”.
  6. Enter your VPN user name and password in the box. Leave the certificate field blank and click “Ok” to connect.
  7. You are now connected to the VPN server.
  8. To end the connection, right click on the icon and click “VPN Client”, click “Disconnect”.
